I forgot to post:
"You don't know the history of psychiatry. I do," Tom Cruise said on the Today show.
Really, do you?
In an Entertainment Weekly interview, he explained, "Well, look at the history. Jung was an editor for the Nazi papers during WWII."
No, he wasn't. "According to Aryeh Maidenbaum, the director of the New York Center for Jungian Studies, this is not true."
He continues, "Look at the experimentation the Nazis did with electric shock and drugging. Look at the drug methadone. That was originally called Adolophine. It was named after Adolf Hitler."
Uh, wrong again. "According to the Dictionary of Drugs and Medications, among other sources, this is an urban legend."
What is going on with him?! This is a crazy midlife crisis. He needs to go see a psychologist. Ironic, ain't it?
