Rants and Raves

okay, time for a more light-hearted entry. i saw “Mean Girls” saturday night. it was actually really funny and clever. it wasn’t like the usual dumb teen movies. the screenplay was written by SNL's Tina Fey, and was inspired by a nonfiction book titled Queen Bees and Wannabes: Helping Your Daughter Survive Cliques, Gossip, Boyfriends, and Other Realities of Adolescence.

on sunday night, we went to eat at Stoney River in Roswell, GA (about 30 min north of here). the Chicken Spanakopita appetizer with roasted chicken, spinach, mushrooms, and parmesan cheese, wrapped in phyllo pastry was delicious. and they had the most amazing rolls and butter. i would definitely go back just for the rolls! :-P

then on monday, i spent most of the evening watching the “What Not to Wear” marathon on TLC. i find the show very entertaining. a participant is recommended for a fashion makeover by their friends. fashion stylists stacy and clinton toss the person’s old clothing and teach them how to shop for new items. then the participant receives $5,000 to spend on a new wardrobe! i love when stacy says ‘shut up!’ when a person looks good. it reminds me of hayeun. :-)

  • Speaking of "Mean Girls", doesn't Lindsay Lohan have like the largest boobs ever for a girl her size? Plus, she looks just like Frankie Muniz (Malcolm in the Middle)

    Separated…

    …at birth?
