sorry again about the lack of updates, i'm busy with school and work yo! i'm taking 2 classes this summer - epidemiology and quality improvement, and i'm interning at emory healthcare. let's see, since my last entry, i went to a southern wedding (it was nice, but really short!) and to the melting pot for a friend's birthday (it was good, but really expensive!). over the weekend i saw shrek 2 and troy.

shrek 2 was funny and entertaining. i don't think it was quite as good shrek, but it came awfully close. a few minor characters from the first film return for the sequel, like the gingerbread man and the three blind mice, and there's a new major character: puss-in-boots, who i of course loved! be sure to stay for the credits, there's a great little part at the end.

troy was entertaining as well, but it wasn't a great movie. i'm really getting tired of computer-generated armies. obviously it can't compete with lord of the rings. orlando bloom is an archer again and just as cute as brunette, and i think brad pitt has some great facial expressions, but the characters and the dialogue just didn't draw me in. by the time the trojan horse was built, i was ready for the film to end.
